Disease of the gallbladder / gallbladder diseases

Diseases of the gallbladder affect a large portion of the world’s population. Gallstones are the most common disease which accounts for more than 95% of the gallbladder problems. US is spending 2% of the annual health budget for gallstone related problems. It is estimated 20 million in USA have gallstones which weigh more than 30 tones! When we talk about the gall bladder diseases the other most important disease is cholecystitis. But even to this condition most common etiological factor is gallstones.
