Etrade will NOT open an account if you do not intend to use it for investment purposes.If you start transferring money from other sources ( paypal etx.) it is guaranteed that they will bloack the account and you can say goodbye to your money. This was told to me personally by an EBANK employee from their LOondon branch last week (september 2009)and it is valid for ANY account ( US and Europe).
